申请居留许可证（持X1签证来中国学习的新生，及在中国国内学习、原有居留许可即将到期的学生）注意事项：
Notes on applying for a Residence Permit (for new students coming to study in China with an X1 visa, and for students studying in China whose original Residence Permit is about to expire):
（1）提交本人护照（含有效签证）原件及复印件1份；
Submit the original and 1 copy of your passport (including valid visa);
（2）提交《外国人签证数字相片采集回执》（回执有效期在6个月以内），可以去樱花相馆照相，地址：西苑小区翠峰西路20号；
Submit "Receipt of China Visa Photograph" (the return receipt is valid within 6 months). You can go to Cherry Blossom Photo Studio, Address: No.20 Cuifeng West Road, Xiyuan District
（3）提交本人《健康体检表》1份，可以到曲靖市第二人民医院
6楼体检，地址：曲靖市麒麟西路287号，0874-3315172;
Submit 1 copy of Health Check-up Form. You can go to the 6th floor of the Second People's Hospital of Qujing for a medical check-up, Address: 287 Kirin West Road, Qujing, 0874-3315172 ;
（4）提交JW202表1份；
Submit 1 copy of JW202;
（5）曲靖师范学院录取通知书复印件1份；
1 copy of the acceptance letter of Qujing Normal University;
（6）提交本人学费及住宿费缴费凭证；
留学生在入学报到15天内必须缴纳本学年的学费和住宿费。因特殊原因，由学生本人申请、经学校同意，可以缓缴学费或住宿费，但如果留学生签证到期之前未交清学费、住宿费、保险费等费用，学校不予协办居留许可证事宜。
Submit proof of payment of tuition and accommodation fees;
International students are required to pay tuition and accommodation fees for the current academic year within 15 days of arrival. For special reasons, students may apply for a deferral of payment of tuition or accommodation fees with the consent of the university. However, the university will not assist in obtaining a residence permit for international students who have not paid their tuition, accommodation and insurance fees before the expiry of their visas.
（7）提交本人本年度购买保险证明；
根据中国教育部相关文件，在华留学生必须购买“来华留学生综合保险”，不购买保险者、不缴清学费等者，学校不予协办居留许可证事宜。保险费需留学生本人自己交于保险公司，在缴纳过程中有困难者，可向国际学院教师寻求帮助。
Submit proof of insurance for the current year;
According to the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education of China, international students in China must buy the ‘Comprehensive Insurance for International Students’, and if they do not buy the insurance or do not pay the tuition fees in full, the school will not assist them to get the residence permit. International students should pay the insurance premium to the insurance company by themselves, and if they have difficulties in paying the insurance, they can seek help from the teachers of the School of International Studies.
（8）关于费用Fees:
申请居留证未满1年：400元
Application for a residence permit less than 1 year: 400 Yuan
（9）一般提前1周可申请办理居留许证；
Application for a residence permit is normally made 1 week in advance;
（10）居留证在学校假期中到期的，需向公安机关出入境管理处提出申请，经公安机关批准，在学校放假前办理新的居留许可证。
If your residence permit expires during the school holidays, you need to apply to the Exit-Entry Administration of the Public Security Bureau for approval to apply for a new residence permit before the school holidays.
（11）持学习签证，不可以在中国境内有偿劳动，打工等，需遵守中国的一切法律法规。有违反中国法律者，注销签证，限期出境。
Holders of study visas are not allowed to engage in paid labour, part-time jobs, etc. in China and are required to abide by all Chinese laws and regulations. Those who violate Chinese laws will have their visas cancelled and have to leave the country within a certain period of time.
（12）外国留学生只有完成了学校报到手续，国际学院方可协办居留证件事宜。
School of International Studies can only help foreign students to get the residence permit after they have completed the procedure of registration.
